“My Life My Reality” will offer a unique blend of comedy and drama, presenting a slightly exaggerated, fictionalized portrayal of our co-founder, Haitian-American actor Jimmy C. Jules. Set against the backdrop of Boston, New England, the series chronicles Jimmy’s journey as he navigates life as an aspiring actor, business owner, writer, director, and producer.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • LOCAL TALENT FOCUS: Featuring stories that showcase the rich pool of talent from Boston and neighboring cities. As we grow, we’ll travel and bring in talent and people, including business owners, from various regions to enrich our stories.
  • ASPIRING TO ATTRACT CELEBRITY CAMEOS: With successful fundraising, and your support, we aspire to bring in bigger names, including renowned actors, musicians, and reality TV stars.
  • DISTINCTIVE APPROACH: Think of a mash-up between Curb Your Enthusiasm and Whose Line Is It Anyway. Each episode will revolve around the humorous and heartfelt trivialities of everyday social life, running a business, and interactions with his associates, including fellow actors, business owners, and more, in and around the entertainment industry.
  • IMPROVISED COMEDY: Episodes will be Grounded in Jimmy C. Jules’ plot outlines, with actors improvising gags on the spot for genuine reactions and spontaneous humor. Supporters can suggest plotlines on social media, which Jimmy will consider.

To bring our series “My Life My Reality” to fruition, we need to raise funds for additional equipment like rigs, cameras, lighting, and sound equipment, as well as essential production costs like location rentals, set design, costumes, and props. As we aim to bring in bigger-name talent and expand the series, contributions will also go towards actor fees, crew salaries, catering, transportation, and other operational expenses crucial for a successful production. We’ll launch a crowdfunding campaign soon, and we appreciate any support you can offer, whether through contributions, spreading the word, or simply sharing our campaign on social media.
